If you demand perfection, in other words that they do the assignment exactly like you would, without detailed instruction and the purpose for doing it that way then you are setting them up for failure. When an employee is continually set up for failure because they can’t read your mind, or because they do things different than you, or you don’t listen to their feedback then you can usually count on some sort of negative form of push back.
