I have been a fan of Crucial Skills because I believe honest, empathetic communication is a powerful tool for building relationships and a more humane society. However, the story shared in this article about withholding food and confining inmates to their cells in punishment for someone else’s transgression is very upsetting to me. That is unfair and inhumane, unethical if not illegal, and I am having second thoughts about how Crucial Skills can be used to manipulate and abuse. Really upsetting.

Congratulations on an excellent response to the genuine, although often hidden, question about temper. Thanks so much. If I may offer something to Mr. Maxwell…. you don’t need to elevate your credibility by stating you went to Stanford. Let your answer be your answer and stand on its own merit. I really don’t know why people from certain institutions feel the need to tell people where they went to school….. Again, thanks for your article.
